Nationally, more than 3 million people are employed by staffing companies every week according to the American Staffing Association (ASA). In fact, the demand for temporary workers is returning to levels not seen since 2006, and show little sign of slowing down over the next quarter.

The IAESB — formerly the IFAC Education Committee — develops guidance to improve the standards of accountancy education around the world and focuses on two key areas:

  • Essential elements of accreditation: education, practical experience, and tests of professional competence
  • Nature and extent of continuing professional education needed by accountants
